WINGS (2008 - Present)
Digitally outputted photographs from 4x5" color negatives.
This series of photographed bird wings represents awareness of dead birds. I collect their bodies, then detach, spread, and dry the wings in collaboration with Elijah Talamas. I photograph the wings to document their existence as part of our landscape and daily world, not to acknowledge their deaths.
